Damon Albarn has been very interesting with how he changed his style and genre. He just should’ve stuck to what he was doing and why did he need to do this? He did this because he wanted a more lo-fi sound and whilst that a good choice he could’ve just expanded but it’s his choice and that’s all that can be said
